Inter area relays 2010
Briony, Callum and Roanne were asked to make up teams for the junior inter-area competition at Scolty on the 5th Jun.
Saturday was the relay event with Briony, Emma (Clyde) and Frances (FVO) achieving 3rd place out of 12 teams in the girls section and Roanne’s team of Roanne, Claire and Lindsay gaining 10th place. Callum along with Robert (Clyde) and Daniel (FVO) gained 6th place out of 16 boys teams.
At the last minute Emily and Alasdair were asked to run in a non-competitive team as someone had dropped out. As their leg started in the middle of a torrential downpour with thunder booming overhead, Ross was also allowed out on the course to shadow them.
