Two Northern Lights Trophy winners
Eilidh Shearer and Tom Lines both won their class at the recent SOL5 at Birsmore Hill.
These are excellent results and show that the hard work they have put in this year pays off.
The weekend of the 4th and 5th September was a busy one for EckO members as they made their way north for 2 days of Orienteering.
Saturday was a relay event in Banchory in which EckO had an eleven person and an eight person team entered.
Sunday was spent in the woods around Aboyne where the courses where very technical.
For the juniors the Sunday also involved the “Northern Lights” competition with trophies awarded for the fastest boy and girl on their course that day. EckO juniors Eilidh Shearer and Tom Lines put in fantastic performances to win their respective age classes.
