The event centre will be just beyond the play park at Dunollie. Parking is limited around the play park but there is more parking along towards Park Primary school or the more energetic could park at the back of the cathedral and walk up the hill.

Terrain:

A generally runnable area made up of series of hills to the north of Oban with some very fast going over the sheep grazed farmland in the centre of the area. Gorse bushes reduce visibility in places.

Courses:

Junior (Primary) score of 30 minutes
Junior (Secondary) and Senior score of 60 minutes

Start times:

13:00 hrs Primary school starts
The juniors will be a 30 minutes score class with a 10 minutes briefing and map inspection before the start.

14:00 hrs Secondary and Seniors Starts
Both will be a 60 minute score event with maps issued once you have started.

Afternoon Tea will be at Westerlea, Etive Park, North Connel.  NM 909 347

Again parking is very tight in Etive Park itself and there is more parking along the old road past the bus stop towards the airfield.
June will be home from about 15:30 hrs onwards with the kettle on and we will serve food at 17:00 hrs once everything has been collected back in. Prize giving will follow the food.
Food will again be a bring a dish, would everyone with a surname A to M bring a savoury dish and everyone N to Z bring a sweet.

Explanation of Course Colours

Yellow = Easy controls on paths with some controls just off paths, compass not essential.

Orange = Moderate with most controls just off paths or line features, compass recommended.

Light Green = More technical than Orange but not as hard as Green.

Green = Technical with most controls NOT on paths or line features.

Blue = Same as Green but longer (5km +).
