Dunstaffnage Castle and the surrounding area looked spectacular on this crisp sunny morning. Although the temperature struggled to get above freezing point, over 60 people took part and soon warmed up by running around the 4 courses. Thanks to Dave & June Bleazard who planned and organised the event.

Three members selected for international duties
Three EckO members were away in Ireland this last weekend at the Veteran Home Internationals.
Gill Berrow & Lynne Walker were in the Scotland squad, and Andy Dale was in the Welsh squad.
The good news (well for Gill and Lynne) is that Scotland won by 2 points.

Like most ideas I have, I think they sound great when I first propose them.
The problem comes if anyone else agrees with me at that stage and things are taken a step further – by which time I am usually not so sure about the original idea.

Loch Eck Orienteers is the orienteering club for Argyll, Scotland. We have a core of very active members, including some that compete at international level, but we also welcome newcomers to the sport. The club covers the whole of Argyll, with bases in Dunoon, in the south-east and Oban, in the north-west.
