Planners Comments

Thanks to Paul Caban for controlling the courses and for giving me the benefit of his Day4 Oban 2011 planning experience. This resulted in shorter courses than I had originally planned. Judging by the results for the longer courses this was just as well.

Results update/correction:
Amy Kincaid was using Roberts SI-card.
The Orange course was wrong as well, Jura Macmillan was the real winner, I had input Ceri’s BOF number into the system in error.

]]> Sat, 04 Feb 2012 12:18 GMT CompassSport Cup 2012 http://www.ecko.org.uk/articles/compasssport-cup-2012/ http://www.ecko.org.uk/articles/compasssport-cup-2012/#id:372#date:18:32 The CompassSport Cup is an annual event, which will be at Faskally (a fun little map near Pitlochry) on 19th Feb. Clubs compete against each other in area qualifying rounds; the top clubs then go forward tot he national finals. This is the Scottish round.  The leaders will go through to the final which this year will be in the borders, so doable for us if we qualify.  My understanding is that up to 4 of 9 of the smaller clubs from Scotland will go through, though it’s all a bit complicated, but we’re in with a shout!
