New Year Bash.

An opportunity to have a walk/jog/run around Glen Nant National Nature Reserve trails to clear the cobwebs and have a glimpse of the new Glen Nant orienteering map.

Pre-Event information

Course information

There will be two courses available.

The Ant Trail :  Follows the existing Ant Trail route so mostly on a defined path/trail.  About 4Km

The Off-Ant Trail :  A control picking O course (Technical difficulty 5) that weaves back and forth across the Ant trail taking in virgin mapped territory never before used for orienteering. About 6Km

The aim is for everyone to keep together in a rough group. The Off-Ant trail runners crossing with the Ant Trail runners as they progress around their courses. 



Assemble 10:45 for 11 am start

Courses close 12:30

Followed by Tea, Soup and Cake at Taynuilt Sports Pavillion at 1pm.

Entry on the day. Usual rates £4 Adult BOF members (£5 non-BOF), £2 Juniors

Dogs allowed but advised to keep on a lead in the forest
