The detailed Results are here, and RouteGadget
The weather prior to the event meant everything was wet and muddy and slippy. We lost some path routes, which made the yellow rather short but still worthwhile for the novices/juniors.
The weather on the day was perfect, and thanks to everyone that came and told us they enjoyed it.
It was good to see some new faces and hope they enjoyed their first experience at orienteering with EckO.
See you in another lovely part of Argyll soon.
Learning to use new software (Condes course planning) always requires a great effort of will, so many thanks to Paul for “being there”. Thanks also to the stalwart control collectors.
P.S. Nearly didn’t make it. We were stopped for speeding (36mph) on the way through Ardrishaig, then breathalysed. Fortunately the Deuchars had dissipated and John was in the clear!
John & Suse Coon (planners/organisers)
Note:
There was a small problem with control 121 (in the walled garden), the time was out by about a minute, so the split time from the previous control will be short or negative.
