MAKI School Championships, 21 May 2010
A joint venture between EckO, Stramash and Active Schools.
The 2010 Mid Argyll School Championships took place at Kilmory Castle, Lochgilphead on Friday 21st May. 185 pupils from 5 schools took part in the competition.
Lochgilphead won the team trophy.

EckO events are open to anyone, and we would welcome pupils from other schools to come along to our events. We provide coaching advice and support for juniors at every event. You can read more about our junior activities in our Junior section.

The points are allocated as 100 points for each 1st place, 99 for each 2nd place etc. with the top 6 positions counting towards the total.
There was a small problem with control number 154 in that it’s internal clock was a few seconds slow. This means that in a few instances it looks like people got to 154 before they had left the previous control, so it can’t calculate a time for the leg and a dash is inserted. This has no effect on the overall results.
