Oban Urban-O, 18th Jan 09
This year’s Oban street event was a little different from the last. There was less emphasis on the back-alleys of town and more on the woodsy suburbia up on the hill.

There was certainly running to be done, but strategy was key too. Hopefully you passed through some corners of town you never knew existed.
Well done to Dave for bagging all the points and just squeaking under the 40-minute time limit. He came back half way, realised there was time to spare and set out across town to claim the last two.
Next were Bruce and Finley who both got all controls bar two, putting them level on points, but Bruce just edged it on time by 4 seconds. A few minutes behind them, but also level on points, were Carol and Lynne leading the women.
Hopefully we can entice a few more folks out onto the winter streets next time!
