The weather and terrain were perfect for a cracking event on Sunday. Ganavan was at its best if a little chilly particularly for those on download ie Ross and Alan. Many thanks to Ross for planning four excellent courses which made the most of the best parts of Ganavan. The green and blue course visited some lovely runnable terrain with tremendous views at Dunolliebeag. Ross started to put the first controls out at the crack of dawn. When the helpers arrived all was ready!
Thank you to Alan who did his usual excellent job of organising the entries, starts and download. Surprisingly, the printer still worked despite the baltic temperature.
Ruari and Finlay did an excellent job mentoring other less experienced orienteers. We musn't forget the excellent brownies and flapjacks that sustained starving orienteers. Thanks Liz.
Last but not least, thanks to all our control collectors - Ruari, Finlo, Jan and Ross.
Next event is at Sutherland's Grove on Sunday 7th January.
