Successful day with SWAT in Dundurn

Dundurn, a lovely technical area with some good running was used in Day 3 in Strathearn 2019. On Saturday three EckO juniors enjoyed a training day with other SWAT members. The juniors started off their training by following a line course to the assembly area. Working in twos or threes, the juniors talked through their route with their partners as they were walking and identified features whilst trying to stay as close to the line as possible. They also took part in a compass star course, a line visualisation exercise and a control pick course. The day was rounded off with a relay. The juniors had a chance to practice all the new skills learnt from the five zoom sessions run throughout February.
