Course Information

Tayside Orienteers are hosting the preliminary round of the Compass Sport Cup/ Trophy at Kinnoull Hill and Deuchny Woods, Perth on Sunday 23rd February.

This event would be perfect for those members who would like to try an orienteering event outside of EckO land as there will be lots support and encouragement from the team.

It would fantastic to have enough interest to field a team. So far we have around 16 -20 interested members. .

The event is based on a colour coded system for courses ranging from orange to brown. If you wish to be non-competitive, it is possible to enter Yellow or Light Green. Most competitors will run in their age category but in order to field as 'full a team' as possible, some more experienced runners might wish to 'run-up'.

Details are on the TAY website.

All entries are via the club captain so please email info@ecko.org.uk as soon as possible with the following details.

Age group eg W35

SOA/ BO number

The closing date for entries is Feb 7th 2025 to allow Club Captains to allocate start times and make course changes if needed.
