A-Maze-ing day at Oban Highland Games
Adventure Oban invited EckO to help celebrate today's 150th Anniversary of the Oban Highland Games.
An ‘Adventure Games’ assault course was devised, seeing people donning 'oversized' wetsuits and flippers racing to a distant red tent and back, much to the amusement of many visitors, hanging upside down from a frame for as long as possible until either the legs or arms gave up and finally completing an EckO orienteering maze as quickly as possible. Several youngsters and family groups enjoyed their first experience of orienteering by having a go at the maze.
Congratulations to Ruari, Rufus and Roanne (3rd in her class) for competing in the hillrun which was quite a trial in this hot weather.
All the very best to Roanne Lilley and Tom Lines who have been selected to represent Scotland in the Senior Home Internationals at Glen Tanar.
