De-flabbing at the Artisan cafe

The weather didn't look promising but luckily it held off and remained dry, allowing 13 EckO orienteers to start 2019 de-flabbing in the hinterland of Strathfillan.

We met at the Artisan Cafe between Tyndrum and Crianlarich and split up for various activities ranging from a fast and furious bike ride up to the foothills of Ben Lui, a family and couples walk/run along the West Highland Way via the Holy Pool, Auchtertyre and St Fillan's Church and a longer 9km run via Tyndrum and up into the surrounding forests.

A good time was had by all with everybody returning suitably de-flabbed only for all the good to be undone by a feast at the cafe. Once again the Artisan Cafe produced excellent food. Thank you to Donna and the team for the delicious food and hospitality and also Jim for his expert guiding and advice.
