Glen Nant Training
Ross Lilley's training event at Glen Nant
On Sunday a small but select band of members and non-members braved torrential rain showers, hordes of midges, and burgeoning bracken to take part in Ross Lilley's expertly planned training exercises in beautiful, though technically difficult, Glen Nant woods.
Ross provided two exercises:
- Attack Points: using easily located points on line features to attack off-line control sites.
- Dog Bones: using fine navigational skills on a variety of legs crossing hillsides and contour features.
There was a problem sending emails to the mailing lists and so Ross has decided to leave controls out until next Sunday (23rd June) to allow those of you who missed out to have a go in your own time.
