Explanation of Event levels
Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Activities are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Directions / Parking
Join the B8025 road to Tayvallich and Loch Sween from the B841 Crinan Canal road. Look out for sign posts to the Argyll Beaver Centre about 1km from the junction.
Drive up the track to the carpark just beyond the centre. Note, we may need to use nearby forest tracks if numbers exceed the capacity of the centre carpark.
Map / Terrain
Using forest trails around Loch Loch Barnluasgan and Loch Coille-Bharr for a gentle jog, run, stroll according to interest.
Registration and Start times
Assemble at Barnluasgan Field Centre for 1100hrs. Trail runs for up to an hour finishing back at the centre from 1200 for Soup, cakes, and beverages. Let us know if you can bring something to share by contacting info@ecko.org.uk

Aiming for two trail options starting and ending at the Beaver Centre;
- Circumnavigate Loch Barnluasgan - Approx 3Km
- Circumnavigate Loch Coille-Bharr - Approx 8Km

This is a free event subject to donations of food and drink and also to the Beaver Centre for hosting us.
