A small turnout this week, but it is a long way for Oban folk to travel to, but disappointing that none of the local children turned up.

MAKI School Championships, 29 May 09
The 2009 Mid-Argyll Inter School Championships took place at Kilmory Castle, Lochgilphead on the 29th May. 103 pupils from 4 schools took part in the competition.
For the 2nd year running Kilmartin won the team trophy.

Thanks go to Niall for organising the event. Whilst putting out the controls in the afternoon he experienced horizontal rain and 10meter visibility, conditions when you realize how useful a compass is (pity he left his in the car!).
